LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — This week, small businesses turned to the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce as they celebrated the small business week.
According to Gwinnett County Chamber, there are more than 39,000 businesses, and 88 percent have less than 100 employees.
Keeping with the chamber's mission to help businesses in Gwinnett County succeed and grow, they signed the Strategic Alliance.
The chamber did this along with Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, SCORE, University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration Georgia District office.
The alliance will help address the needs of small businesses within the county.
In a press release, sent out on Monday, president and CEO of the Gwinnett County Chamber Dr. Dan Kauman said, "the Gwinnett Chamber is committed to a strategic collaboration with our resource partners to foster the supportive environment that our small businesses need to thrive."
