GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Rain or shine, several organizations are still celebrating Halloween starting tonight in Gwinnett County.

  • The Salvation Army of Gwinnett County will host its free Trunk or Treat this evening from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Children will collect candy from decorated trunks in the front parking lot of the Salvation Army building on Sugarloaf Parkway. There will also be free food, faint painting, and bounce houses for trick or treaters to enjoy.
  • Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lilburn will be hosting its annual Spooktacular Halloween block party from 6 pm to 8 pm. The block party will feature games, crafts, and trunk or treating. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated trunk and best costumes!
  • If you're looking for something with a later start time, Freedom Christian Ministry will be holding their Trunk of Treats 2019 tonight from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. The Halloween event will be held at the Lawrenceville location at 359 West Pike Street.
  • Sugarloaf Mills will be hosting a mall-wide Trick or Treating event from 6-8:30 pm. Select retailers with pumpkins in their windows will be offering candy and treats to those dressed in costume. If the store has a blue pumpkin, that means they offer allergy-safe candy and if they have an orange pumpkin, they have regular candy.
