GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Detectives are working to establish a timeline of events after a person shot call led to the discovery of a man's body inside a Gwinnett County home.

Authorities said the incident happened Thursday night in the area of Lockridge Lane outside of Lawrenceville. Police said that a woman had come home to find a member of her family dead in her home around 9 p.m. 

She called police who responded to what they described as a "person shot" call and found the deceased victim. Police haven't identified a suspect in the crime and are waiting to name the victim after his immediate family members are notified.

Police said a large group of concerned friends had gathered outside the home. Detectives are working to determine if any of them might no what happened.
