LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Ginger came to the shelter with her kittens a few weeks ago. All of her kittens have now found their fur-ever home, and Ginger is hoping to find hers soon.
Stacie Miller with the Gwinnett Animal Shelter says that Ginger is very friendly, but not much for playing, "she is very curious and likes to run around, but doesn't seem too interested in toys."
Ginger weighs about 7 pounds and is a domestic shorthair cat.
Gladys is an eight-year-old mixed breed. She has been at the shelter for about a month. She does suffer from some arthritis because of her age, so Miller says its best for her only to go on short walks.
"She wants to do more than she physically can. She has the heart of a younger dog in the body of an older. She loves to give kisses and cuddle too."
Gladys is an older dog at the shelter, so Miller says it be best for her not to stay there too long.
Both Ginger and Gladys are available for free adoption this week.
