NAWOSB relaunches in Gwinnett County

National Association of Women Owned Small Businesses is an organization aiming to help women in the small business community on how to become a contract and a vendor.

GWINNETT, Ga. — Gwinnett County is a growing hub of small businesses, and a perfect space for the National Association of Women Owned Small Businesses.

"We focus on educating women-owned businesses on how to become a contract and a vendor," said Tammie Bailey-Fults, CEO and Founder of NAWOSB.

NAWOSB has chapters throughout the South in places such as Columbus, Georgia and Greenville, South Carolina. At the beginning of this year, they relaunched the chapter in Gwinnett County.

On Tuesday, the Gwinnett County chapter hosted a discussion on insurance for business owners.

"This is one of the discussion that we have that is pertinent to the Gwinnett County area as Metro Atlanta," Gwinnett Chapter President Monica Scott said.

So far, the Gwinnett Chapter has nearly 25 members within the organization. You can check out how you can join here
