Jewelry

Germs thrive in the nooks of your jewelry because they are often hard to clean. Even washing your hands doesn't rid yourself of all of the bacteria. However, silver is antimicrobial, inhibiting the growth of microorganisms, so if your jewelry is made of this metal and is smooth-it should be relatively germ free.

Yoga Mats

Although most gyms have antibacterial spray, it is rare to see the yoga mats sprayed clean. So it's suggested to bring your own.

Pillows

You wash your sheets and pillowcases but actual pillows are rarely thrown in the laundry machine. Pillows contain mold, bacteria, and dust mites. So the next time you are washing your sheets, wash your pillow as well.

Desks are often times overlooked as a place to clean by custodians because they are considered a private area. Remember to take charge and regularly clean your area.

Purses are teeming with bacteria since when they are not on your shoulder; they are often left on the floor. So remember to wipe your purses off from time to time.
