An argument between a married couple ended with the husband dead and police searching for a person of interest.
Henry County Police released a sketch of a possible witness to the crime Wednesday morning.
At approximately 2:30 Sunday morning, police said Darron Christopher Etheredge, 50, was driving home with his wife when they got into an argument.
Police said as a result of the argument, the wife exited the vehicle on Jonesboro Road and began walking away.
The wife told police, a man driving a black Mercedes SUV offered her a ride and she accepted.
Police said there was a brief altercation between the three parties that caused the husband to lose his life.
He was shot and taken to the hospital where he died.
Investigators believe the person of interest can provide further information on the altercation that led to Etheredge's death. He is described as a black male in his 30's with long dreadlocks pulled back into a ponytail.
