Ride free to Black history museums with Lyft this month

The ridesharing company said for the entire month, it would provide one free ride up to $10 to Black history museums, memorials, and relevant cultural sites.

ATLANTA — If you plan on going to a historic site in Atlanta this February for Black History Month, Lyft can get you there for free.

The ridesharing company said for the entire month it would provide one free ride up to $10 to Black history museums, memorials, and relevant cultural sites.

Atlanta is just one of a long list of cities that has participating locations where you can use the code.

Use the code BHMATL19 to go to these Atlanta sites to redeem the discount:

  • Atlanta History Center
  • Atlanta University Center Historic District
  • APEX Museum
  • Center for Civil and Human Rights
  • Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park

If you really want to get a bang for you buck, the Center for Civil and Human Rights has free admission this month, thanks to a $1 million donation from Coca-Cola. 

There's also no fee to enter the MLK National Historic site.
