JONESBORO, Ga. -- One person was struck and killed in the 600 block of North Avenue in Jonesboro at about 4:30 Tuesday morning.
Clayton County Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit the victim remained on the scene after the incident.
Names of the individuals involved are not being released at this point.
The investigation remains ongoing. Any charges in the incident are still pending.
