ROSWELL, Ga. — One person was taken to an area hospital after police say he was injured in an apparent drive-by shooting in Roswell.
According to Roswell Police spokesperson Sean Thompson, the victim was walking on Dogwood Road in front of Roswell Village Apartments when a vehicle with multiple people inside pulled nearby.
That's when police said one or more of the suspects inside the vehicle opened fire, striking the victim in his hand and leg. The suspects left the scene and police don't know which way they were headed. The department also hasn't released a description of the vehicle or if they have identified a person of interest or suspect in the crime.
The victim, who has not publicly identified, was listed as stable though his specific condition wasn't provided.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as they become available.
