Crews initially fear possible entrapment at large northwest Atlanta house fire

The call came in at around 6:30 a.m.

ATLANTA — Firefighters were called to a home in northwest Atlanta on Sunday with the fear of a possible entrapment.

Crews on scene say they have not been able to confirm anyone was actually trapped at the home on Sciple Terrace NW at Joseph E. Boone Boulevard when the call came in at around 6:30 a.m.

Officials dud confirm that the house was not occupied. They said there was a hydrant in the neighborhood that was knocked down, which caused a delay.

No injuries have been reported.
