A major Cobb County road is shut down after a crash between a train and an unoccupied truck.
Cobb County police say the truck was attempting to turn around in the Orient Express parking lot on Paces Ferry Road Tuesday evening when it inadvertently backed onto the train tracks behind the restaurant.
The driver noticed the train coming and quickly exited the vehicle. The collision between the train and the unoccupied truck caused the truck to also hit other vehicles in the parking lot.
There were no injuries reported at the scene. Police expect Paces Ferry Road at New Paces Ferry to be closed for a few hours as they continue to investigate.
