ATLANTA -- A woman being charged by police after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death at her southwest Atlanta home, authorities say.
Police told 11Alive the two got into an argument at her Myrtle Street home around 5:40 Saturday morning, at which point 50-year-old Sandy Reed stabbed her live-in boyfriend an unknown number of times.
The 55-year-old man, Norris Lumpkin, died as a result of his injuries, though they have not said whether he died at the house or the hospital.
Investigators are now working on piecing together a motive. They've charged Reed with murder and aggravated assault. She is expected to make a first appearance Monday morning
