ATLANTA -- Police hope photographs from a bank security camera will help them find the man donned in sports gear who robbed it on Tuesday.

The robbery happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3820 N. Camp Creek Parkway in southwest Atlanta.  Police believe the suspect walked into the bank and passed a note to the teller announcing the robbery.

He then left with an undisclosed amount of money and escaped in what police believe was a charcoal gray sedan. Neither witnesses nor surveillance video point to signs that the man was armed.

However, the latter did capture several still images of the suspect before he left. He's described as a black man between 37 and 50 years old and between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.  He had an average build and a beard with some gray hear.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black and red Atlanta Falcons knit hat, a white Atlanta Falcons hoodie over a gray hoodie, gray and blue pants and black shoes.

Police are now asking anyone who recognizes the man to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 to be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
