ATLANTA — A woman is recovering in an Atlanta hospital after being shot Saturday night.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the victim was shot around 10 p.m. Officers arrived in the 300 block of Stephens Street in southwest Atlanta to find her with a wound to the leg.
From there, she was taken to the hospital for treatment as they continue their investigation. It's still not clear how she ended up with the injury or what led up to it. It's also unclear if police have a suspect in mind for the shooting.
The victim's identity wasn't released though police said she is 32 years old.
