FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — More than 24 hours of into deliberations, it doesn't appear jurors are anywhere close to reaching a verdict in the Tex McIver murder trial.
The Atlanta attorney is accused of intentionally shooting his wife, Diane, as they rode in an SUV in September 2016.

During day two, jurors just asked three questions that could show there's division in the deliberation room. Experts say it could be good sign for Tex McIver. As the judge read the first of three questions, the defense team lit up.
QUESTION 1
They asked whether McIver could be found not guilty on counts 1 through 4, and guilty on count 5. Counts 1 through 4 are malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon in the commission of a felony. Those are far and away the most serious charges.
Count 5, is less serious – witness interference – which, if he was convicted on that charge, he may not even spend time in jail.
QUESTION 2
The second question was wether or not they could see inside the SUV where Diane was shot with the gun, and if they could go in there with the weapon. They will likely be able to see the SUV Thursday morning.
The jury has already had the chance to view the scene of the alleged crime during testimony.

QUESTION 3
The jury wanted to request that they be able to view the emails sent between Tex and Diane, however the defense and prosecution are still arguing over which emails they will let jurors see.
