DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- DeKalb firefighters rescued a five-week-old kitten on Sunday.

Rescue personnel were dispatched to reports of a car stuck in a wall. They found the tiny kitten stuck between a house's foundation with only about two inches of space.

With the homeowner's permission, firefighters removed about five bricks from the side of the house to rescue the animal.

They then took the kitten to in 19s immediate to be checked out and put up for adoption.

"Due to the nature of the rescue the facility named the kitten, 'The Rock,' " the department said.
