The Peach Drop is back at Underground Atlanta this year.

The Atlanta New Year's tradition will feature live music and other festivities for those who want to bring in 2019 in the company of thousands.

Where is the Peach Drop?

After a one-year absence, the Peach Drop is returning to Underground Atlanta, located at 50 Upper Alabama Street.

What time does the Peach Drop start?

Gates open at 6 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

How much does the Peach Drop cost?

It's free, and you don't need a ticket! Just show up! (The city says "the earlier you arrive, the better the view").

What can can't I bring to the Peach Drop?

Prohibited items include: Firearms, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, drones, pets, bicycles, hoverboards and skateboards.

There will be bag searches conducted at all access points and a clear bag policy is encouraged.

What streets will be closed for the Peach Drop?

Street closures begin at 3:30 p.m. These are the closures:

  • Peachtree Street to Wall Street
  • Wall Street to Central Avenue
  • Central Avenue to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Peachtree Street

How can I get to the Peach Drop?

Attendees are encouraged to take MARTA or rideshare services to the event, due to street closures and high traffic.

Rideshare drop off and pickup will be available on Ted Turner Drive.

For those who plan to drive to Underground Atlanta, police say park in metered spaces or legitimate pay lots. Violators will be subjected to towing. Even loose change can attract car prowlers so make sure to take all valuables out of the car.
