Motorcycle accident on Hwy. 92 kills Woodstock teen

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have identified a teen killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Cobb County Police said that the department's Selective Traffic Enforcement Program is investigating the deadly crash, which happened on Alabama Road (Highway 92) at Old Mountain Park Road around 4:30 p.m.

Police said that the crash happened when a 2001 Nissan Altima driven by 21-year-old Genesis L. Lugo of Woodstock made a left turn while heading east on Alabama Road. 

Cobb County Police said that, in the process, Lugo collided with a 2009 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle which was heading west on Alabama Road. The rider, 18-year-old Cameron S. Clason, also of Woodstock, was ejected and taken to North Fulton Hospital. However, he later died.

Police haven't made any mention of possible charges in the crash but said that it remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 770-499-3987.
