ST. LOUIS (KSDK) -- A woman claiming she was forced out of her car and attacked in the Bevo Mill neighborhood is being charged with filing a false police report.

Seherzasa Dzanic, 26, said she was driving on the 4600 block of Lansdowne around 5:30 a.m. on December 5 when three black men in their late teens or early 20s attacked her.

Dzanic said the men walked in front of her car and displayed a handgun telling her to stop the vehicle. She said one of the suspects pulled her from the car and kicked her, while another hit her windshield with what appeared to be a crowbar. The other man went into her car and through her purse.

This incident came days after a man was beaten to death with a hammer in the same area.

Dzanic is being charged with filing a false police report, a class B misdemeanor.
