There's ... Johnny!
Tony Danza stars in this comedy from creator Paul Reiser, set in the heyday of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show in the early 1970s. The 10-episode series is a rose-hued nostalgia piece that goes behind the scenes at the legendary late-night show, told through the perspective of 19-year-old Andy Klavin (Ian Nelson), a fan just off the bus from Nebraska who lucks into a job. It's a sweet but almost painfully earnest love letter to Carson, and instead of casting an impersonator, the series weaves in archival footage of the real Tonight Show.
