24-year-old dies at the scene after t-bone crash
Fatal crash in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - State police say a 24-year-old died at the scene of a severe crash on RT 161 in Stockholm late Friday night.

Pronounced dead at the scene was Jessie Bouchard of Fort Kent, said Maine State Police Lt. Brian Harris.

Harris said 19-year-old Amanda Oullette of Fort Kent failed to stop at a 4-way stop and T-boned the vehicle Bouchard was a passenger in.

Bouchard was in a 2003 Toyota SUV driven by Lori Levesque when the crash occurred. Levesque and two other passengers, including a 2-year-old child, were transported to Cary Medical Center for treatment.

Oullette and passenger in her vehicle were treated and released from Cary Medical Center.

Harris says police are reconstructing the accident and investigation into the crash is ongoing.
