'You have been an inspiration' | Amazing Grace continues to touch lives even after passing

Grace Bunke passed away a day before her 15th birthday.

Even after her passing, Grace, affectionately known as Amazing Grace, is continuing to inspire and touch lives.

Grace "departed her earthly home for her eternal one" on Palm Sunday, March 25, according to her mother, Vicki Bunke.

She would have been 15 on Monday, March 26.

Grace had been battling osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer, for more than two years.

Even a day after her passing, comments and social media reactions are pouring in about the inspiration teen who gave everyone a reason to be thankful and live life to the fullest.

The U.S. Paralympic Swimming community is also remembering the life of Grace.“Today is a very sad day for the entire Paralympic community,” Julie Dussliere the vice president of U.S. Paralympics said in an article. “Grace was an incredible friend, teammate and young woman who had a bright future ahead of her. Grace faced cancer with wisdom beyond her years, and she touched the lives of everyone in our program who crossed her path.”Amazing Grace was truly Brave Conquers Fear.
