ATLANTA -- Meet the ladies of the Red Hat Society at A.G. Rhodes Atlanta.
"Everybody knows we're coming," said member Millie Jackson.
From flowers to sequins and studs, these women sport their red hats proudly.
"And what we do, as I say, is we have a good time," said Jackson.
For this group of about 20 women, part of that fun comes from being of service.

"Most of us are used to giving back, so it wasn't anything new for us," said Jackson.
The group called others to action for their service project of collecting donations for the 11Alive Canathon.
"That's right we want everybody to be full," said Society member Harriett White.
Many of the Red Hatters, as they are called, are confined to wheelchairs.
"I'm not too well," said White. "But I try to do as much as I can."
While their legs may not function as they used to, their hands and hearts are still working for others.
They gathered so much support that they had to bring in a second box for donations.
"This is the season to give," said Jackson. "So, we want to be part of that."
