Johnathan Babcock, a sophomore from Sequoyah High School in Woodstock, delivers bread weekly to low-income families in Cherokee County, helps cook breakfast every Sunday morning for the homeless, and has traveled to Mexico and Kentucky to perform mission work.

Jarvis Haugabook, a sophomore at Pebblebrook High School in Austell, started a mentor/tutor program at Clay Elementary School to assist children with academic and social skills. He has also raised money to assist needy families, so they could purchase food for Thanksgiving; and last year he organized a Senior Holiday Luncheon at the Austell Senior Center.

Katie Elise Hawkins, a Senior at Stockbridge High School, has served in the Girl Scouts for seven years and received the Girl Scout Silver Award in 1999. Katie has volunteered as a tutor for the past several years at Stockbridge Elementary School, where she helps students with reading comprehension.

Breona Maranda Jenkins is a Senior at Dublin High School, in Laurens County. Since 1999, Breona has volunteered with the Dublin-Laurens Teen Court, an alternative sentencing program of the juvenile court. She devoted over 150 hours this past summer as a tutor for Communities in Schools at The LOFT (Leaning Out For Teens), and uses her talent in dance to instruct kids at The Boys and Girls Club summer camp.

BaoHan Vo, a native of Vietnam, is a Senior at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. BaoHan has dedicated over 400 hours to tutoring students in math and science. She has also volunteered at local daycare centers and nursing homes. At the Vietnamese Buddhist Center, she devotes her Saturdays to teaching children how to read and write in Vietnamese and English.
