ATHENS, Ga. - Athens-Clarke County Police released the sketch of a suspect in a rape reported on Sunday.

The sketch was created by a forensic artist with the GBI who interviewed the victim.

Police said she was attacked in the downtown area of Athens, but they are not releasing any additional details, including the time of the rape or whether the victim has any ties to UGA.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s or 40s with a bald head, medium brown complexion, dark brown eyes and a stocky build.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any tips that lead to an arrest.
