CORNELIA, Ga. -- Police in a north Georgia town are on the lookout for a woman who hasn't been seen since July 2.

Cornelia Police said Sara Kathleen Williams, who goes by Katie, was last seen in their city and was, at the time, possibly headed to Gainesville. But authorities say she hasn't been seen since then.

Williams is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Cornelia Police said she also has an eighth note tattoo on her shoulder blade.

Authorities say she has contacts in Athens, Gainesville, Buford, Atlanta and Jacksonville, Florida. And while someone using Williams social media accounts is claiming to be her, police say she has yet to contact them directly. As such, they are leaving the case open as a missing person investigation.

Anyone who has information on Williams' location is asked to call the Cornelia Police Department at 706-778-4314 or Habersham County E-911 at 706-778-3911.
