Yale Law School librarians have released their list of the most notable quotes of 2018.
Topping the list, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani's statement that "truth isn't truth." Giuliani made the statement in August during an appearance on NBC's meet the press.
He was asserting President Trump might "get trapped into perjury" if he were interviewed in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Second on the 2018 list was Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's "I like beer, I still like beer."
The then-Supreme Court nominee made the comment in September during his opening statement before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Also on the list was a line from Meghan McCain's eulogy for her father the late Senator John McCain.
"We gather to mourn the passing of American greatness, the real thing - not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly,” the younger McCain said. “Nor the opportunistic appropriation of those that live lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served."
