South Fulton Councilman Khalil Kamau is hoping the Spring Extravaganza will bring a crowd to Creel Park.
“We just want to bring a sense of community, now that we are a brand-new city,” said Kamau.
It’s the second year for the free Easter celebration, which is how long South Fulton has been a city.
Organizer Torrey Tomlinson has many events planned.
“We want this to be unique, we have an adult Easter Egg hunt, fashion show, and other events,” said Tomlinson.
Kamau feels this and other events will bring much needed sense tradition to the community.
“Community, connection and identity,” said Kamau.
