I was on Ghost Adventures with Zak Bagans in Globe. This is what's real.

It was an experience I could never forget.

Yes, it's all true.

Nothing is scripted. The only moments that have a plan are the shots between the crew and the person they are interviewing. That's usually normal while shooting any story, even a documentary.

The tears, anxiety and worries are all real.

If you are not familiar with the story as to why the popular show Ghost Adventures went to explore the Gila County Jail in Globe, well, let's break it down.

The 1910 Gila County Jail in Globe, Arizona gained its fame for being one of the most haunted jails in Arizona. Initially, I was going out to do a feature story on an actual haunt the jail was hosting for Halloween. I wasn't ready for what would happen next. Unexplained moments happened that I can't even explain even to this day.

I was in the jail conducting an interview with the caretaker of the jail. I heard someone respond to me and said "yeah." My GoPro went ballistic as I left it next to a window in the jail. It was definitely turned off. And, my footage was gone, I have witnesses to prove this.

PREVIOUS STORY: My unplanned ghost experience at a historic jail in Globe is something I could never forget

My story made its way to Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans. He became aware of an accumulation of other incidents that have been reported at the jail. The next thing I knew, the caretaker of the jail, Molly Cornwell, told me that Ghost Adventures was coming down to the jail and they would be contacting me.

So, I took a chance and went on the show.

The episode premiered Saturday, April 14 on the Travel Channel.

It was an experience I could never forget. The crew made me feel so comfortable. It's not something you easily talk about, especially if you work as a digital reporter and social media producer for a local news station.

How could this be real? Trust me, I ask myself this all the time. Honestly, I don't know how real those moments were, but in my heart and emotions, it felt as real as it could get.

I didn't get coached for this. I didn't see anyone slamming jail cells, acting like a ghost did it. I didn't have to pretend to be shocked with the spirit box said my name. It wasn't programed to do that.

It was in the moment.

So, whatever you decide to believe in or not, I'm saying it was real. Don't be afraid to voice your thoughts, feelings and opinions, but always be respectful toward the living and not.
