NEW YORK – A naked man stood atop the TKTS booth in Times Square Thursday morning, wildly gesturing and gyrating as police tried to apprehend him, according to NBC station WNBC.
The 21-year-old man could be seen falling to the ground in videos and photos posted to social media.
At one point, the man could be seen ranting and lunging at police in tactical gear.
According to the New York Post, the man ranted about Donald Trump.
When he tried to run away, he fell from the top of the booth and landed on the asphalt 16 feet below, barely missing an inflatable mat that the police had placed for him to land on.
WNBC said the man was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center for treatment of minor injuries and for evaluation.
