A woman went from the police department lobby to a county jail cell after she requested a background check that she may now regret.
The Morrow Police Department didn't release the woman's name, but that was about the only part left out of an interesting story shared on their Facebook page on Wednesday.
According to the page, a young woman came into police headquarters to obtain a criminal history report and the department obliged.
"We ran a background check, as we always do, and would you believe that she had warrants from Virginia for dangerous drugs with a warning of violent behavior," the online narrative said.
Having a building "full of cops eager to provide those higher customer service skills," she was promptly arrested in the lobby.
Police said she also had a bag of marijuana in her pocket that was discovered as they searched her during the arrest.
She was then charged for the new crime and jailed to await extradition for the older ones.
One charge she didn't receive, however, was a bill for the background check.
"We pride ourselves on good customer service," Morrow police said in their post.
