RESULTS | 2018 AJC Peachtree Road Race

We have the winners!

The first runners have officially crossed the finish line in the 49th annual AJC Peachtree Road Race!

The Peachtree is one of Atlanta’s premiere Fourth of July traditions as 60,000 runners and walkers of all ages wake up early, lace up their shoes, and hit the pavement. This year, the race started at 7 a.m. which is 30 minutes earlier than years past to help with the hot morning temperatures.

Wheelchair Race Champs

Men: Daniel Romanchuk - 18:39.42

Women: Susannah Scaroni - 22:49.05

Susannah Scaroni upset defending champion Tatyana McFadden to win the AJC Peachtree Road Race's women's wheelchair division!

Women's U.S. 10K Champs

1st: Stephanie Bruce - 32:21

2nd: Aliphine Tulimuk - 32:29

3rd: Sara Hall - 32:41

Stephanie Bruce won the women's elite division of the AJC Peachtree Road Race while defending women's champion Aliphine Tuliamuk came in second.

Men's U.S. 10K Champs

1st: Bernard Lagat - 28:45

2nd: Haron Lagat - 28:48

3rd: Tyler Pennel - 28:49

Daniel Romanchuk took a commanding lead into the winner's circle in the AJC Peachtree Road Race wheelchair division

Men: Jason Parks - 31:50

Women: Yolanda Ngarambe - 34:54
