Five lower level seats at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium have been designated as a "row of honor" and will be reserved for Atlanta fire and police personnel for each Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United games.

The seats, emblazoned with the U.S. flag and the Atlanta police and Atlanta fire rescue department logos, will be used by the individual departments on a rotating game-by-game basis.

“These men and women put on a uniform every day and devote their lives to protecting the Atlanta community,” said Steve Cannon, CEO of AMB Group, the parent company of the Falcons and United. “Many of these men and women stand inside and outside of the stadium, rain or shine, ensuring the safety of our fans, players and associates on a weekly basis, and never get the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a game.

“This is a small, thank-you to those who continue to protect the entire city of Atlanta day in and day out.”

Atlanta's police and fire departments will be responsible for choosing which individuals attend each game.
