The UGA football team received comforting news on Sunday, moving up to No. 4 in both the coaches and media polls.

As such, Georgia fans can confidently presume that Georgia (11-1, SEC East champs) will be part of the Big Four on Tuesday night, when the latest College Football Playoff rankings become public.

For the newly released Associated Press poll, UGA (up one spot from last week) owns a substantial lead over Oklahoma (5th), Ohio State and undefeated UCF.

The Buckeyes had the greatest rise among the elite clubs, jumping four spots for the week.

How did that happen?

When you hang 62 points on the country's No. 1 defense (read: Michigan) ... it's worth the tangible bump in the rankings.
