ATHENS, Ga. — Monday night brought more good news for the Georgia Bulldogs on the recruiting trail, and another monster offensive lineman for Sam Pittman to develop.
Suwannee High (Live Oak, Florida) offensive tackle Joshua Braun, the nation's No. 248 overall player, announced his commitment to the Bulldogs, via a tweet from his father, Mike.
"I’m done," Braun told Radi Nabulsi of UGASports.com. "I’m 100 percent committed and out of the pool."
Braun, who measures in at 6-foot-6, 360-pounds, becomes Georgia's fourth offensive line commit for the Class of 2020.
"The pitch is that with me and Tate and the other guy [Broderick Jones] they're bringing in, we'd have one of the best tackle bases in the nation, and we'd be going against the best defensive line in the nation," Braun told UGASports recently. "Once you put those two things together, you'll be successful on Saturday, and that's the ultimate goal."
He's also the fourth member of the Rivals250 to join the offensive line for the class. The group also includes Lithonia's Broderick Jones, Rome's Tate Ratledge, and Texas-based offensive guard Akinola Ogunbiyi.
Georgia now has twelve commitments in the Class of 2020.
