Georgia backup quarterback D'wan Mathis undergoes surgery for headaches

ATHENS, Ga. — A University of Georgia quarterback has had to have surgery to fix headaches, sources confirm.

11Alive UGA insider Radi Nabulsi broke the news.

Sources tell 11Alive backup QB D'wan Mathis has had a lot of headaches lately. It's serious, but they expect a full recovery. 

Mathis is an incoming freshman. He originally committed to Ohio State.
