Between Ronald Acuna Jr.'s SunTrust Park debut and Jose Bautista getting called-up from Gwinnett, the Atlanta Braves (19-12) drew a record round of 41,807 for Friday night's game against the San Francisco Giants.

Acuna was called-up during the Braves' 10-game road trip. The team went 7-3 during the trip, including a sweep of the New York Mets that catapulted them into first place in the NL East.

The Braves sold standing-room only tickets for Friday's game for $20, something the team typically reserves for playoff games.

"That's awesome. That says a lot about how excited our fans are, and also the young players we have this year that are playing so good. They bring a lot of fans out," Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte said before the game. "This city deserves better than how we've been playing the last few years. We just want to be the best we can until then."

It was also a Star Wars night, bobble head giveaway night and Friday Night Fireworks, all of which contributed to the larger than normal crowd.

The Braves lost 9-4.
