Georgia may be No. 1 in the Playoff Committee's eyes, but the coaches still view Alabama as the best team.

Alabama held on to its top ratings in this week's Amway Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide defeated rival LSU 24-10 to improve to 9-0.

Georgia defeated South Carolina by the same score on Saturday, and Kentucky's loss helped the Bulldogs clinch the SEC east and a conference championship appearance in December. Their next opponent, Auburn, moved up to No. 10.

Wisconsin and Clemson each moved up one spot to be No. 3 and 4, respectively, and Notre Dame moved up three spots to round out the top 5.

The biggest rise was from Michigan State, who moved up 10 spots to No. 16 after they upset Penn State. Ohio State was the biggest fall moving down eight spots to No. 11 after Iowa blew them out.
