GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — 11Alive News has obtained the incident report involving former Atlanta Falcons star Roddy White, who was arrested Friday evening in Gwinnett County.
Known officially as Sharod "Roddy" White, the former NFL receiver from 2005 to 2015 had initially been cited on charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license and committing an HOV-lane violation.
According to the report, Gwinnett County police officials stopped White on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road, after observing him traveling on I-85 southbound.
White's driver's license had been suspended since Feb. 21 of this year, due to a traffic violation from last November.

For that November citation, White apparently failed to appear for the subsequent court date. That led to the bench warrant for his arrest and accounted for a stint in the Gwinnett County jail.
According to the Gwinnett County booking sheet, White's bond for the original two citations was set at $801.
White currently works as a wide receivers coach at Johns Creek High School. At this time, the Johns Creek athletic department has yet to comment on White's arrest.
White (2005 first-round pick) still holds the Falcons franchise records for catches at 808, receiving yards at 10,863 and receiving touchdowns at 63.
Of course, current Falcons star Julio Jones might eclipse all three club records within the next two years.
