The Alabama Crimson Tide held their national championship parade on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
Nick Saban rode through the streets on the back of a Mercedes-Benz convertible while his players and the marching band traveled through the crowd, throwing footballs and beads. An estimated 40,000 fans attended the event.
While the parade was going on, Alabama had the second half of the national championship and overtime on replay. That's when Alabama fought back from an eventual 20-7 deficit and claimed the title.
If it makes Georgia fans feel a little better, they did have to watch this play again:
Saban, who has won five national titles with Alabama, took to the podium and spoke about the future challenges. He wanted everyone to know that Alabama is "not finished..." and the players took over and exclaimed, "yet."
