ATLANTA — UPDATE 6:40 A.M.: Traffic began moving after all lanes were shut for roughly 15 minutes Tuesday morning.
Police confirmed six cars were involved in the wreck, with one person being transported to a hospital.
Other, smaller wrecks on I-20 E have worsened the traffic situation, with trip times pushing an hour between Hwy 92 and the Perimeter.

A major emergency response has been dispatched to a wreck on I-20 eastbound, causing a major traffic buildup on the motorway.
The trip time from Hwy 92 to the Perimeter is currently 50 minutes and could extend longer as first responders work to clear the wreck.
All lanes were being held to clear things around 6:30 a.m.
