CONYERS, GA. - Authorities say West Avenue at I-20 is shut down in Rockdale County due to a crash that dumped a massive amount of gravel on the highway.
The crash happened in Conyers and photos from the Conyers Police Department show the spill. At least three vehicles were involved and police are reporting injuries.
One woman was air-lifted from the scene and two others had minor injuries. While the crash caused severe backups on West Avenue, it didn't directly impact traffic on the interstate below.
