SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — All lanes have reopened on GA-400 north in Sandy Springs after a rollover crash had multiple lanes blocked for some time on Thursday afternoon.

It happened south of Northridge Road around 1 p.m. Traffic from the incident appeared to be backed up as far back as Perimeter Center.

A Sandy Springs police spokesperson said one person had to be extracted from the vehicle. There were no known injuries, however. It was not immediately clear how many other cars were involved in the wreck.

Traffic cameras showed at least two fire trucks on scene as well as several other first responder vehicles.

How to get around it

Your best bet is to get off at Abernathy Road in the Perimeter Center area and travel west to Roswell Rd./Hwy. 9 and take that north until you can get on Northridge Rd. and head back to GA-400.
