ATLANTA — A construction project on GA 400 at 285 is causing heavy backup Thursday morning. Two right lanes and the 285 ramp are closed, according to GDOT.
GDOT said the construction team poured some concrete a little too late which means it won't be cured and ready to set until 7-9:00 a.m.
This is expected to back up GA 400 to Roswell, Alpharetta, Cumming and other major areas.
Traffic Tracker Crash Clark said Roswell Road or Glenridge Drive may be good alternate routes to get around the backup, but the best thing to do is to leave the house early.
