Early morning wrecks create multiple lane shutdowns on I-75 and I-20

I-85 is also shut down in Jackson County.

ATLANTA — Two major wrecks and an emergency bridge repair are creating headaches for drivers Thursday morning along I-75, I-20 and I-85.

Only the far left lane is open on I-75 northbound at Delk Road in Cobb County after a tractor trailer wreck. The incident happened around 6:30 a.m.

Drivers are encouraged to use Cobb Parkway or Powers Ferry Road.

Meanwhile, around 6:50 a.m. all lanes of I-20 eastbound became blocked past Fulton Industrial Boulevard due to a wreck following a police chase, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Drivers are encouraged to use Veterans Memorial Highway as an alternate.
