DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — An Atlanta woman died Sunday when she struck the back of a stalled tractor-trailer on Sunday morning.
It happened along Interstate 20 westbound on around 9:35 a.m. The highway was at a standstill after all lanes were shut down just east of Thornton Road for about three hours.
The Cobb County Police Department said a car traveling on I-20 struck a stalled tractor-trailer. The driver of the car died.
On Monday, police identified the driver as 39-year-old Nicholle B. Knight.
