DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Traffic is moving once more after a crash on I-20 that, at one point, was blocking all eastbound lanes in DeKalb County, Tuesday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation reported the eastbound lanes blocked not far from Candler Road (exit 65). According to DeKalb Fire Rescue, two people were injured and taken to the hospital after a truck with a trailer overturned.
The estimated clearing time changed multiple times but, ultimately, traffic was flowing again just before 11 p.m. Before it cleared, though, state traffic maps showed significant backup stretching as far west as the Maynard Terrace overpass.
