COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A bus appears to have burst into flames Monday morning causing a traffic headache for commuters on Interstate 75 northbound in Cobb County.
Just before 7:30 a.m., Georgia Dept. of Transportation cameras showed the bus on the median with heavy smoke.
The fire was extinguished by 8 a.m, but several fire trucks were blocking multiple lanes of traffic just south of Marietta Parkway.
Authorities say there were no passengers on the bus and no injuries reported.
By 9 a.m., the scene was clear.
