DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County is dealing with two major traffic backups on Friday morning following wrecks.
One traffic jam is affecting I-285 East near Doraville. A wreck has closed multiple left lanes just past Peachtree Indistrial Blvd.
Additionally, an earlier wreck on I-20 West left significant backup as far as into Stonecrest and Lithonia.
That happened at Wesley Chapel Road and required a temporary hold on all lanes, leading to the traffic jam.
Anyone still encountering backups on I-20 can use Covington Hwy. as an alternate.
